Thread-topic: tokend stops launching after multiple insert/remove of a smart card
User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/11.2.3.060209
Has anyone seen this? The card I'm using just stops working after a while
(no tokend running). securityd appears to be ignoring it. The system log
shows that the card is removed:
com.apple.SecurityServer: reader CCID Smart Card Reader 0 0 removed token
"smart card #3" (NO tokend) subservice 3
But it doesn't show any event when the card is inserted.
If I unplug all my card readers, kill pcscd and reattach the card reader, I
still have the problem. I have to reboot to get the card to work again.
Using a different card doesn't work either once the Mac gets into this
state.
