Hi,
I'm developing a digital signing app with Cardman 2020 reader. I had some troubles at the beginning, but I thought that was all can happen to me. Unfortunately I was wrong.
I have my Cardman reader running properly. I have a card which contains data on it (two certificates, qualified and commercial protected by PINs). Something goes wrong when I'm try establish connection to the card. I receive an error code "Token unknown". When I use the basic function "MSCListTokens" as a first parameter I have to use "MSC_LIST_ALL" instead of "MSC_LIST_KNOWN" which lists only supported tokens (I'm using PCSC.framework).
Is there some supported/unsupported data formats for the chip cards ? I thought since such chip cards consist of a microchip, RAM and ROM memory etc. it behaves more like a very simple computer not like some mass storage device (where data formats play major role).
Maybe there's something I don't understand ?
Maybe there's something wrong with the chip card ?
Anyone had similar troubles with chip cards and card readers ?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You.
Greetings,
Tom.
