Duplicate keychain error

Hello,

I am running into a strange problem while trying to create a keychain with SecKeychainCreate. I keep getting errKCDuplicateKeychain. Here is how it happens:

My application creates a keychain in a specific location. I then open the Keychain Access and delete file and reference of that keychain while my application is still running. I try to create another keychain and I get the error. In the Apple Keychain Access main window I see an item with the same name as the keychain I tried to create but there is no icon to it. I can only delete it from the Keychain List under the "Edit" menu.

If I quit my application after I delete the keychain and try to create a new one it will work. But it seems as long as my application is still running I can't create this keychain.

Has any one run into a similar problem? Any ideas why it happens and is there a work around it?
