Hello,
I am developing an application for the iPhone.
My program has a variable which is continually changing and it's value needs to be stored so it can be reinitialized to the last value on startup.
The user or a hacker should not be able to access or modify the value in any way. Backing up the iPhone and restoring should not alter the value of the variable.
Is it possible to implement such a scheme??? I do not think public key encryption and digital signatures are adequate as the user could first create a backup use the application for a while and restore the old backup effectively resetting the variable to an old value??
