PS: It seems this behavior occurs only with a cyberjack cardreader. I have no problems with pcsctest and a KAAN Advanced or Tribank.

REINER SCT's cyberjack card reader is not one of the readers currently supported by the driver. We have been working closely with Dr. Ludovic Rousseau who is the main author of the CCID Open Source project we are leveraging. The Smart Card Reader Manufacturers can contact him directly <email@hidden> and get their smart card reader support added.
