Thanks, Ken. I wouldn't have thought to check the signature on the app. I
just checked and it certainly looks like it wasn't installed correctly.
$ codesign -vvv /Applications/Utilities/Keychain\ Access.app
/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.app: code or signature modified
I'll run the 10.6.2 installer package and see if that fixes things, and then
later update with the system management tool to see if it breaks again. :)
