The line of code:

set x to cell "valueOne" of current record

does not compile for me because it's not wrapped in <tell "FileMaker"/end tell>. Plus presumably you need to specify some combination of database, document, window, layout and table.

I'm surprised it compiles for you unless you just shared an extract of the code.
