Rename images (optional add comments)

Title: Rename images (optional add comments)
Hi guys,

I would like to write a script which renames images.

What I have is an excel file:
Colom A: old name
Colom B: New name

--Script--
Look in folder on (eg Desktop) where the images are.
Look in excel file
If ‘old image name’ exist... Change name to new name.


Additional would be open the image in Photoshop CS and add a comment in the ‘info window from photoshop’
which can be found in Colom C from the excel file
