There is a program that does similar things,

Maybe Steve <email@hidden> would expand it to minimize to 20 megs. He has been very helpful to me.

I don’t really need another application--I can scale in Photoshop. I’m really only asking if there is a way to predict the saved file size via AppleScript. If I could get the predicted file size from the bottom left of the document window, that would suit my needs as a good starting point, but I can’t see how to obtain that value. I’m also open to other Photoshop/AppleScript suggestions...
