A simple question, or so I think.

Now the way forward seems to be:
- copy all files to a 'safe location' on the user's hard drive
- import the files into iTunes
- compare the paths of the resulting iTunes tracks with the imported files, and delete the originals if the paths are different.
Before I implement all of this: is this the right approach?
