Sure...I am trying to write a program that seeks to eliminate duplicates in Mail using Real Basic which is able to use Apple Events. So, when running across things like "seld" etc, I find it easier remembering the stuff if one understands the derivation of these arcane terms.....which you have kindly done.

Mmmm, be curious to see what AEs-in-RB code currently looks like. Do you know if there's a lot of folks wanting to control Mac apps from RB? If so, I might have a bridge to sell them...
