Well, you used to be able to get styled text of of FileMaker something
like the following - but it does not seem to work that way now or
perhaps I just have a script syntax problem. I tried many variation on
get data as styled text in FM9 and none seem to work.

set rtf_text to ((get data cell "Whatever" of current record) as styled text)

Seems like the subject line in this thread has changed several times
but was the question ever answered to the satisfaction of OP?
