I thin, but am not sure, that the property list suite was added only in 10.4.

BTW, instead of this: set pListpath to "/Users/User1/Library/Preferences/" & "com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist"

You can use this instead: path to preferences folder as text & "com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist"
