hi Jay,
Just make sure jou put the whole line Ronald suggest in 1 (one) line. Looks like somewhere along the route from what Ronald typed to what you read the one-liner got wrapped into 2 lines. Hence the error message.Ronald Hofman kindly suggested the following:
set DefaultApp to (word -6 of (do shell script "defaults read com.apple.Preview"))
Unfortunately, OMM it errors out with the following message: ³sh: line 2:
com.apple.Preview: command not found²
Any ideas ?
YMMF :-> so it may work as advertised on your machine (??)
