I tried to solve this and could not. However, I noticed that if you try to
change the "kind" of an art layer to "solid fill layer", you cannot. The
error message states that you can only change "kind" to normal or text. So
maybe AS can read if a layer is a solid fill layer, but cannot create one.
That would be too bad because I need to do this as well...
