My predecessor at my company wrote the code for the InCopy plug-in that produced this code. And yes, once I get my hand on that code, I will certainly rewrite it to get this right.


I have now rewritten this portion of my code to do the same thing with direct AppleScript of the InCopy application, rather than use the bad AppleEvent from the plug-in. This results in correct UTF-16 text.
