I was working on a simple script to get the dimensions of an image. I found a sample script on the Apple site that uses Image Events. Unfortunately, when I choose an image (and I have tried a dozen or so) and get the properties I get this:
get properties of image "ablogo_color_full15.tif"
{bit depth:missing value, file type:missing value, image file:file "DMZWBKUP:WorkingJobs:Art Bar Ads:ablogo_color_full15.tif", location:folder "DMZWBKUP:WorkingJobs:Art Bar Ads:", resolution:{}, class:image, dimensions:{}, name:"ablogo_color_full15.tif", color space:missing value}
