I think you mean "Build". You have to build the app. Then Open Package Contents of the built app, as below. That works fine - you just have to remember to do all this every time you make a new build.

Open Resources
Create Folder: Scripting Additions (must have a space in between - no
idea why)
Copy the addition into that folder
