Choose file dialog, how to hide hidden files?

Hi,

In my ASStudio application I'm using the following line to choose a file:

--code

set theFile to choose file with prompt "Please choose a file:"

--/code

How can I use a 'choose file' dialog that will HIDE all of the hidden files
on the system? Can this be done? Limit of ASStudio? Alternate methods?
