Are you asking to style a portion of text within a field, or to actually *remove* the styles that were added in the field?

If the latter, then the usual method would be to use FM's Set Field to transfer the field value to a global field, empty the field (which should clear the style info), and then transfer the value back to the field.

Or something like that; I'm a bit hazy now.
