Acme Widgets survide the trip but RegEx Commands didnt

Acme Widgets are OS X native.
Leonard Rosenthol's osaxen (RegEx Commands, StuffIt Commands) have never been ported to OS X. :-(

For some reason, Apple lets you use Classic fonts automatically, but not osaxen.

There are alternatives to RegEx Commands (you could think of Perl as a humongous scripting addition). I only wish there were some alternative for StuffIt. :/
