I seem to recall that there was a way to find out how many hours the CPU in the Mac had been running (I don't mean uptime, I mean the total hours since the machine was assembled). I recall doing this back in the OS 8 days. But I can't seem to determine where I got the information. I thought it might have been in the System Profiler, but no luck there. I then looked through the gestalt.h file to see if there was a way to get it via AppleScript, but can't see anything on a quick pass through there, and apropos doesn't give me any clues about a Terminal command that would give that information. I just can't remember how I got that information. But I'm sure someone here will know.
