Thread-topic: Deploy compiled AppleScript not work
Sorry Laine, I'm afraid that I have a little bit different concern from
yours. My AppleScript is an embedded script in my application. Actually
my Cocoa application is responsible for dynamically finding Ms Word in
the system, and pass the right name as a parameter to my AppleScript.
Anyway, I used the following five attempts to find Ms Word in my
application, and I guess these five ways are all scriptable:
1) with full path and name
2) with bundle identifier
3) with application name by finder
4) with document extension (*.doc, *.rtf, *.dot ...)
5) open document by finder
