We have just attached an additional display to an iMac and, using the System Preferences, we can manually swap the “main monitor” between the two displays. (We actually want to do this so that Front Row will display on the new display).

I can’t seem to find any way to swap the “main monitor” between the displays using AppleScript, but it sounds like an obvious thing to do.

How can this be done?

(Once I have this, then I can write some scripts to swap the main monitor to the second display, run Front Row and then swap things back to ‘normal’ later on).
