I hope not. I need some documentation, too. I'm pleased to hear about -1762,
although I've been able to work around it to a great extent. It appears that
there are some tighter restrictions for textual content in defaults
commands. I had to change
"defaults write com." & "windowsets.windows" & space & x & this_key & space
& this_value
to
"defaults write com." & "windowsets.windows" & space & (quoted form of (x &
this_key)) & space & this_value
in some of my scripts, because I was using some ASCII 94 (carat?) characters
and things. I guess I should have done that before, anyway.
