OK here is what I want to do:
I am writing a point of sale program, and there are a few things I want to
be able to do.
1) I want to be able to save each individual receipt as it's own file in a
user-selectable location.
2) I want to be able to have the program save settings such as prices,
passwords, money and sale counts and the like that are user-changeable
within the program. I want them saved after the program quits.
3) I also want to be able to print just the receipt portion of the program.
I want to be able to save the receipts in a self-contained way so that I
don't have to have text edit open, and also be able to open them within the
program again simply by double clicking them in finder or by selecting them
in the program.
