List MOM, et al.




List members,
        I'm certain I've seen MUCH more traffic from list critics than  from those who forgot to turn their auto-responder off before taking a couple days off.  And... since this is an AppleScript list, and the vast majority of us use AppleScript to automate tasks, I'd think it'd be a natural extension for someone on this list to be using other forms of automation as well, albeit incorrectly.  The members of this list represent various experience levels, and I think these pompous tirades might discourage some less experienced from even participating.  The esteem I hold for many of your imaginations would lead me to believe that there'd be a much more creative (and less invasive to the other list members) approach to reminding folks to turn off their auto-responders off with regard to this list, other than continuously post rants to the list.
