However, I like to try not to involve the Terminal or/and UNIX in
this.
Well... the terminal doesn't slow it down (or shouldn't); it's just
another way to run the same script. I have basically the same results
in script editor if that makes a difference.
I like to be able to use my AppleScripts in an Intel Mac's just as
they are written, without the need of doing anything else. If that
is not possible, I doubt I will ever use an Intel Mac together with
AppleScript. After all , AppleScript is supposed to be one of the
most simple consumer orientated (well, almost...) ways of
programming and running your computer, right?
