Quietly Distill a file


Hi all,

I'd like to distill a file without Distiller having to launch. You can print to PDF and Distiller doesn't run, it uses the Distillerintf process. How can I tap into this or similar to have it produce the PDF "silently"?

Here's the code I have to distill my file:

set f to choose file of type "EPSF"
tell application "Acrobat Distiller 7.0"
        Distill sourcePath POSIX path of f adobePDFSettingsPath POSIX path of "/Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF/Settings/Press Quality.joboptions"
end tell
