Subject: Apple User Groups and Apple Stores

This came up on the list a year ago or longer. AM curious about the
current state of Apple Store and Apple User Group relationships.

There is no national policy on this. MetroMac holds our bimonthly meetings at the Apple Store in Soho and have been doing so for over a year. As it is one of the largest stores in the country, they have seating for about 60 + standing room in their theatre. It is all up to your relationship with your store, their scheduling availabilities and other issues that are 100% local in nature.

There is no special pricing for the group nor does their staff do the meeting content either, we provide that. Each situation will be different but ours has worked out very well for all parties involved.

PS I am involved with two groups but I am on this list with my other group, NYCDAUG which does not meet at the Apple store.
