Re: [OT]Apple lost their market in China again!

Let's just focus on Apple and user groups in China and Japan as an example.

Apple Japan throws parties for user groups in Japan. We think that's godlike treatment. Apple China has nothing close to that -- all BeiMac got was a few posters and an occasional Apple speaker or two. (Still, we're pleased with what we have.)

Apple Japan has a user group page -- in Japanese. Apple China doesn't have that at all.

Moreover, there are plenty of MUGs in Japan. That number is hard to break -- the double-digits barrier that is -- in China. We've only BeiMac, MacFans, and some groups in TW, HK and Macao. That's it.

But Apple China is the rising star, and we're optimistic for Apple in China. 1.3 billion souls -- Apple's got to throw in more than one penny for the Chinese market.

Respectfully,
David
