How do I know if the user stopped the workflow?

I have an Objective-C action that downloads files (potentially many, potentially large). When I click the stop button while my action is running, the Automator UI appears to stop, but the files continue getting downloaded - which means that my action continues to run in it's separate thread.

When I'm in my run method, is there a way to know that the user has requested me to stop?

Or, is there a way to do some cleanup in the -stop method? Can I override it, update my progress indicators, etc., then call [super stop] to continue up the chain?

Thanks,
blake
