I am developing some Automator actions that are of the Shell script
type using Python. Getting the data in and out is straightforward
(via stdin/out) and user settings in the UI are transmitted via
environment variables. But there doesn't seem to be a good way to do
error handling in Shell based actions.
Even the Automator programming guide doesn't say much.
Are there any suggestions or Apple recommended practices for this?
