You CAN use your dyndns hostname as the name for your server. In the instructions for setting up the server (www.dns-sd.org/ ServerSetup.html), you'd replace "wab.example.com" with the server's dyndns hostname.

However, you should NOT enter this hostname in the Bonjour preference pane. Most Internet dynamic dns services, including dyndns.org, currently do not support true dynamic DNS as per RFC 2136 - most use proprietary HTTP protocols.

For experimentation purposes, you can set up a personal domain, like "mybonjour", by making your server answer queries for that name (in the setup instructions, replace "bonjour.example.com" with "mybonjour"). Since this isn't a "real" domain that is delegated to your server, you'll need to enter your server's IP address in the DNS server field of the networking preference pane on all of your machines. But then you can assign hostnames in the bonjour preference pane, like "powerbook.mybonjour", and enter "mybonjour" in the registration domain.

but i stumble a bit with the configuration. But it is possible right ?
