as stated in the Readme.txt i tried to make with the os option in the
mDNSPosix directory:

~/mDNSResponder-107.6/mDNSPosix
# make os=openbsd

i am getting tons of compile errors, see the full output below.

mDNSResponder uses GNU/Make so `gmake os=openbsd` should cover you (at least that's what those errors look like to me ;))
