Sure did.

This was a userpane that was created in a NIB using Interface Builder 3.  So I thought it was a HiUserPane.  But I know what you're saying, I could just apply the constraint to the child views that aren't user panes.

I think there must be some min/max support that connects to the HIView layout mechanism, but at least in the two HiView documents, it's not apparent.

One other solution that I'm sure WILL work is to handle kEventControlBoundsChanged on the UserPane, and TURN ON/OFF the scaling if the UserPane gets to be too large or too small.  But that starts to defeat the whole purpose of the simple elegance of having the automatic layout management.

Maybe some Apple Engineers connected with that code might weigh in on the subject.
