Re: How to get path the same as proxy icon path

Have you tried getting the HFS Path Style instead of the POSIX one?

Ack, at 8/18/05, Robert Purves said:

I want to display, to my app's user, a folder path obtained from an FSRef. The obvious method

 CFURLRef     url;
 CFStringRef  cfStr;
 url   = CFURLCreateFromFSRef( 0, &fsRef );
 cfStr = CFURLCopyFileSystemPath( url, kCFURLPOSIXPathStyle );

works OK, except that the first components of the path are too geeky for my app's users.
