as soon as the application is launched,it should apprear in the system
icon tray (on the top always visible) for further use (not the dock).
That's called the menu bar on Mac OS X. You'll definitely want to make
the effort to use the correct terminology. It'll make things easier. I
assume you've read the various Mac OS X System Overview documents on
Apple's site? If not, you might do so.
can u pls suggest me how that can be done.
Search the archives of this list or Apple's developer site for some
discussions about Menu Extras.
On Mac OS X, a Menu Extra is a very different thing from an
application. They also cannot be written in Carbon, there is only a
Cocoa API for them.
You might want to start by telling us just what you are trying to do.
You may not need to be a Menu Extra.
