Extra offtopic: Shift+delete in BBEdit does a forward delete. This drives me up the wall. It should just do a regular delete.

But this not a bug, but a preference controlled feature. It has been for years. (And it isextremely useful if you are on a keyboard without a convenient (or one at all) forward delete key.)

This can be turned on/off in the "Editing: Keyboard" preferences in the current release. (The preference existed in previous releases, but the location was slightly different.)

Now lets return to discussing Carbon.
