Speaking of which,
what's the point of having both an "enter" key and a "return" key?
As others have pointed out, it allows you to type return into a
multi-line text field. I first learned to use this with MPW and use
it with MacSQL to execute a query (which can certainly be multi-line
or might have a return inside a quoted string). Other applications
that differentiate return/enter (and I that can think of off the top
of my head) include FileMaker, Excel (in dialogs), Palm Desktop, and
Photoshop.

There are other ways, but none of them is as easy as the Eject button, and

Holding the mouse/trackpad button down at boot will eject the disc.
I have my f-keys re-mapped to be function keys first (and require fn
for volume/brightness/eject) so I wonder if that would still work at
boot for me. I'll try to remember to test it next time I reboot.
