Yes, and in this case it let's you insert another CD to boot off of.

I think of that as being the meaning of mouse-click booting:  it allows you
to insert the CD you want to boot from.  If you don't intend to insert a CD
it probably slows down your boot some, whereas the eject key just let's you
eject an unneded CD without slowing down your boot.
