I just added the alternating colours to the databrowsers my
application. Thanks Apple, I've been waiting!
In my application, the alternating colours go all the way down to the
bottom of the rectangle I specify even if there aren't any rows
containing data.
What's your code look like?

Hi,
I've just discovered a day ago that the Carbon API in Tiger has
support for alternating row color through the new function
DataBrowserChangeAttributes() and the attribute
kDataBrowserAttributeListViewAlternatingRowColors (I'm a newbie to
DataBrowser). Now, I immediately tried using it and at first sight
it also worked very well, but....
The DataBrowser draws nothing for empty rows. That is, if the
DataBrowsers height is large enough to contain all items plus some
more space. Then the space is just not drawn. The strange thing
though, is that if you also sets the attribute
kDataBrowserAttributeListViewDrawColumnDividers to draw vertical
lines then they are always drawn to the bottom of the DataBrowser
(still with nothing painted in the empty space).
Now, is this feature or a bug I should file in radar?
It also seems strange to me, that the attribute
kDataBrowserAttributeListViewDrawColumnDividers is added to draw
vertical lines in the databrowser but an attribute for drawing
horizontal lines are not!!!
Cheers,
