Hi,
I am using an iterator to obtain the FSRef of an Application X which I have previously copied into the Application folder.
I am then trying to launch the application from inside my current program Y.
I first call a FSOpenIterator followed by GSGetCatalogInfo.
After I obtain my FSRef I call :LSOpenFSRef.
However I get an error result : -10814 No aaplication in the Launch Srevices DataBase matches the input criteria.
Now suppose I copy the application X in the app folder and then I open it once .. close it.
Then open Application Y...then i do not get any error message....
So I am guessing my application is only registered in Launch Srevices DataBase after it has been opened once.
Is there a way i can open the application using an FSOpenFSRef ( or other) althouhg this app has never been launche before ????
Or am I completly out of the plot here and this not the problem ?..
Thanks in advance
Charles
