You mean there are still drawing problems, now that happen during
drag&drop? Maybe to check if the current port is screen/offscreen
(IsPortOffscreen).
Even if appearance manager and control manager's setup calls work
with windows only, you may call them and then grab window port's
colors/pattern and apply them to the current port, that might be
your offscreen or even the offscreen that DataBrowser uses to
create the drag image).
