Re: Printing to a file and fBsyErr



For someone's future reference, I can confirm that this was spotlight causing the fBsyErr.

Actually, I think Spotlight still indexes files in the /tmp folder. However, it does not index invisible files (made invisible with the Finder invisible bit), or as John says, files that start with a period, so if you can use either of those techniques, that should fix the problem.
