Hi list:

I face a problem when I developing a app. In the app, we need add little arrow and text edit, when little push down or up, meanwhile the value will show in the text edit . currently we use kEventControlHit to get little arrow control pushed action, and do update for text edit control. all action will do well when VoiceOver not opened.
After open VoiceOver at Universal access, use [Option] + [control] + arrow key to select the little arrow control, and use [Option] + [control] + [Shift] +[Down] key to focus on the little control. According to Accessibility guider we can use [Option] + [control] + [up/down] arrow key to adjust value of little arrow and voiceover will vocalise. but in the fact, voiceover will vocalise but we can't get event of little is pushed. so we can not show correctly value to text edit.

I help comfirm two point:
1. Is there any way to get event when [Option] + [control] + [up/ down] occur.
2. If event [Option] + [control] + [up/down] key down, it had to be obtain by system and not transfer to user.

I think we fixed this bug in Tiger; are you seeing this problem on Panther or Tiger?

If you only see the problem on Panther (and not Tiger), I don't think there's any way to be notified when the little arrow is pressed.
