Re: Too long file paths. Should I really care?



Kind of disappointing that NavServices is using CFURLRefs. In my experience getting an FSRef to a file with a long path, then getting the path from the FSRef using FSRefMakePath worked fine. I could even pass that path to BSD apis and it worked (it became a mangled path). But that last time I checked that was in 10.1. I filed a bug on it (radr://2819060) a long time ago (Nov, 2001) and now I can't see the bug in the list of bugs I reported so I don't know what ever happened to that.
