Yes, that's a good question. I don't use a hitTest function in the sourcecode.
I use the NotificationCallback to do something with the item, but
the app crashs before it runs through this callback.
Maybe it has to do something with this warning, that is logged just before the crash.
WARNING:
CFSTR("\224!\377\260N\200!\200") has non-7 bit chars,

It looks like a rectangle (x,y,width,height).
