However, after reading your other comments, it appears you have a
deep-rooted resistance to adapting, so I won't expend any more
energy on this topic :)
forgive me for being a total idiot, but so far i've had:
- don't do argc/argv, they're stupid
- use a text file, its better than info.plist
- you're an idiot, just do it the apple way
quite tiring when all i wanted to know as -for sure- there wasn't
already a way to do it..
i'm doing it the apple way, and adding "CFBundleExecutableArgs" to my
Info.plist, so i can just drop args in there, be compatible with
support issues ("just add these args to your app"), and get on with
it.
thanks for the help everyone; it is now clear that Carbon apps don't
do argc/argv, and the very-useful-hack of adding
CFBundleExecutableArgs to Info.plist is just gonna have to be the way
to do it ..
