And is there any way to do the same
without adding an icon resource to the file? What about folders/packages? From: Michael

direction. Laurence Harris pointed out (in <http://lists.apple.com/archives/carbon-development/2003/Jun/msg00825.html>)
that OverrideIconRef changes the icon used for *all items* with the icon
corresponding to that IconRef. If your files can handle resource forks, you can add the
IconFamilyHandle to your file as an 'icns' resource with the correct ID
(-16455) via AddResource(). |
